What is Reiki?

Reiki is a form of energy work originating from Japan in the 19th century. It was developed to balance and nourish the body's sytems and encourage healing. The word Reiki in Japanese means "free flow of spirit or energy." The practice of Reiki draws upon the body's own healing energy field as well as tapping into the energy that flows through all things.
